Important: Cigna is leaving the individual ACA market in 2027

On April 30, 2026, Cigna announced it will stop offering individual and family ACA plans as of January 1, 2027. This affects all 11 states where Cigna sells individual coverage, including Illinois.

Existing Cigna coverage stays in force through December 31, 2026. If you have a Cigna individual plan, you will need to pick a different carrier for 2027, so plan to choose a new plan during Open Enrollment to avoid a gap on January 1.

The plan details on this page describe 2026 coverage. Enter your ZIP code below to compare what is available in your area.
